ULTRA Safety Inspection
The purpose of the safety inspection is to uncover physical hazards and note unsafe working conditions. As part of the Safety First program inspection and detection, safety checklist
(see attachment) is the method we use for safety audits. Safety audits are conducted on a routine basis by the site supervisor and on a random basis by the area supervisor
and operations manager.
The following company safety rules are established to prevent
unsafe work practices and hazards:
Each employee is responsible to report all unsafe conditions
encountered in his or her work place to his supervisor
All injuries are to be reported to the site supervisor and
the company
representative
Damaged and unsafe equipment are not to be used at any time
All equipment and janitorial closets must be kept clean
at all times
Signs must always be posted for wet or slippery floor conditions.
All
spills must be cleaned up immediately
All floor machines are to be unplugged when not in use
Only extension cords approved or supplied by the supervisors
are
used
All acids or bleach must be handled with care and stored
in a safe
place
No employee will use any equipment or supplies for which
he or she
has not been trained on, by the supervisor
